How to pass a Bulenox evaluation: the rules and the math

9 min read · Updated September 27, 2026

In short
  • Bulenox sells 4 evaluations: Qualification (Option 1), Qualification (Option 2), Momentum (Option 1) and Momentum (Option 2).
  • Drawdown: Qualification (Option 1) and Momentum (Option 1) trail intraday and never stop trailing; Qualification (Option 2) and Momentum (Option 2) trail end of day and never stop trailing.
  • None of the evaluations has a consistency rule to pass.
  • These are Bulenox's published rules as of September 25, 2026. Bulenox's current help center always governs.

This guide walks through what each Bulenox evaluation actually requires, with the numbers worked out at 50K, and what changes once you're funded. It explains the rules and the arithmetic; it doesn't recommend a plan or a strategy.

Plan by plan

Qualification (Option 1)

On a 50K, your floor starts at $47,500 and trails your highest balance in real time, including open profit. It never stops trailing during the evaluation, so you always have at most the full drawdown of room below your best balance.

There's no consistency rule to pass this plan, so in principle a single strong day can reach the target.

Daily loss limit: no daily loss limit. List price (50K): $175 one-time, plus a $148 activation fee when you pass.

Bulenox's own notes on this plan:

Qualification (Option 2)

On a 50K, your floor starts at $47,500 and trails your highest end-of-day balance. It never stops trailing during the evaluation, so you always have at most the full drawdown of room below your best balance.

There's no consistency rule to pass this plan, so in principle a single strong day can reach the target.

Daily loss limit: $500 / $1,100 / $2,200 / $3,300 (25K / 50K / 100K / 150K); hitting it ends trading for the day without failing the account. List price (50K): $175 one-time, plus a $148 activation fee when you pass.

Bulenox's own notes on this plan:

Momentum (Option 1)

On a 50K, your floor starts at $47,750 and trails your highest balance in real time, including open profit. It never stops trailing during the evaluation, so you always have at most the full drawdown of room below your best balance.

There's no consistency rule to pass this plan, so in principle a single strong day can reach the target.

Daily loss limit: no daily loss limit. List price (50K): $143 one-time, with no activation fee.

Momentum (Option 2)

On a 50K, your floor starts at $47,750 and trails your highest end-of-day balance. It never stops trailing during the evaluation, so you always have at most the full drawdown of room below your best balance.

There's no consistency rule to pass this plan, so in principle a single strong day can reach the target.

Daily loss limit: $600 / $1,200 / $2,500 / $3,300 (25K / 50K / 100K / 150K); hitting it ends trading for the day without failing the account. List price (50K): $143 one-time, with no activation fee.

The math of the race

Every evaluation is a race: the target up before the drawdown down. At 50K on Qualification (Option 1), that's $3,000 before $2,500, so you need 1.2 times the drawdown in profit before losing it once, and while the floor is trailing, your room never exceeds $2,500.

One way traders reason about this is a daily risk budget sized against the room they have. With $2,500 of room, a $625 budget survives four full losing days; a larger one reaches the target sooner but survives fewer. Which balance fits depends on your win rate, average win and loss, and trade count. The pass rate calculator runs your numbers against every Bulenox plan, and TradeHarbor's Pass simulator does the same with your real trades.
